DPK is seeking a Business Development Manager for our commercial land survey company. This is a full-time managerial position out of our corporate office in Edison, NJ. You must be able to reliably commute to our office 5 days a week.

Must have 2-3 years prior experience in Land Surveying, Environmental, or Construction industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying new customers and business opportunities and strategies to penetrate new markets
- Generating leads through networking, attending industry events, existing customer follow-up, and utilizing marketing campaigns to build a pipeline of potential customers
- Establish and maintain existing customer relationships via phone calls, meetings, site visits, etc.
- Manage the creation of customized proposals/quotes
- Track sales performance, forecast future revenue and industry trends
- Work with external business partners to support our customer base
- Manage the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a smooth transition and high level of satisfaction
- Communicate and report information to other managers C-level officers
Skills and Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of business operations
- Proven track record of successful business development experience including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals
- Data-driven approach to decision-making
- Confidence in presenting proposals and information to potential clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to promote and represent our brand
