Automotive service junior advisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Junior Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. Willing to train. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing their automotive repair and maintenance needs. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and the ability to effectively transmit information between customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service center.
• Assess customer needs by asking relevant questions about their vehicle issues and service history.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including tire service, brake repair, oil changes, and other automotive repairs.
• Create and manage work orders for vehicle repairs and maintenance services.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the dealership management system.
• Promote additional services such as automotive sales, auto body repair, and diesel engine repair as appropriate.
• Ensure a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive service advisor role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes, including but not limited to tire service, brake repair, oil changes, and diesel engine repair.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Proficient in using dealership management software or similar systems for tracking service orders and customer interactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who is committed to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
