Dr. Beasley’s Account Manager/Customer Service Associate
Dr. Beasley’s is looking for an Account Manager/Customer Service Associate who has a passion for cars and/or car culture. Based in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, we manufacture and distribute the finest cleansers, polishes, and protective coatings for professional automotive detailers and at-home automotive enthusiasts. In this role, you’ll be our customer’s first point of contact, responsible for delivering a premium customer support experience. It is essential that you have a passion for cars, car culture and/or detailings cars.
Account Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Listening to customers’ concerns and handling questions and complaints
- Processing returns and refunds
- Giving detailed explanations of products and how to use them
- Reviewing customer accounts and transactions while resolving issues
- Communicating with customers in-person, through email or chat, over the phone, or on social media
- Receiving orders, calculating charges, and processing payments
- Monitoring customer satisfaction levels
- Some office and administrative responsibilities
Account Manager skills and qualifications:
- A passion for cars and/or car culture
- Experience washing and/or detailing (your own car or professionally)
- Great communication abilities, including written and verbal communication
- Patience, empathy, and professionalism
- In-depth understanding of the company’s products or services
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small
- Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, website navigation, and other software
- Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily
- Ability to find the positive in any situation
- Ability to be a “team player” and work in other departments on those occasions when those departments (administration, production, shipping, etc.) may need assistance.
Account Manager education and training requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Account Manager experience requirements:
- No experience necessary with a degree
- 1-2 years in a customer service role preferred
- A passion for cars and/or car culture
- Any experience detailing and/or polishing cars (as an enthusiast or professionally) would be considered a tremendous asset

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
