Dental Office Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing support to both the dental staff and patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.

Duties

• Greet patients and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Assist with the management of medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Handle insurance verification and managed care processes to facilitate patient billing and payments.
• Utilize dental software system Eaglesoft for efficient record-keeping and appointment management.
• Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures as needed.
• Supervise junior staff or interns when necessary, providing guidance on office procedures and best practices.

Skills

• Proficient in managing care processes and understanding medical records management.
• Familiarity with dental software applications Eaglesoft.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in budgeting and fiscal management within a healthcare setting.
• Previous experience in supervising staff or interns is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
