About the orthodontic assistant position:
As an orthodontic assistant, you will work onsite in our beautiful state of the art orthodontic practice while interfacing with our patients and their families and assist in orthodontic procedures. Orthodontic or dental assisting is not required. We will train you!!
This is for a full time position (5 days/week, 35-38 hours/week)
Monday: 9:30 to 7:30pm
Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 to 5:30pm
Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Friday Flexible hours:- 4 hrs
Pay: $18-22/hour to start and based on experience. Opportunities for growth after evaluation period.

Responsibilities:
- Capturing extra-oral and intra-oral digital photographs for orthodontic records
- Use software to reconstruct panoramic and cephalometric images
- Dental model acquisition- scans and 3D printing
- Prepares teeth for orthodontic appliances
- Orthodontic separator placement
- Aids in the selection and fitting of orthodontic bands
- Charting using electronic health record
- Instructing patients on oral hygiene, use/care of orthodontic appliances, including clear aligners/Invisalign
- Unties braces, puts in wires fits and cements appliances
- Sterilization of orthodontic instruments and chair setups
- Coordinates and sends Invisalign
- Schedules patients

- Required to wear a face mask in the clinical scene of the office.
Experience:
- Orthodontic or Dental assisting is recommended but not required. We will train you!!

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
