Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing an excellent first impression of the clinic.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
- Pre-testing patients before they are seen by optometrist
- Accurately transpose patients' demographic information in a few computer programs
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism, directing them to the appropriate staff as needed.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date in our systems.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including verifying insurance information where applicable.
- Ordering contact lenses for stock and individual patients (bonuses available for sales)
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to aseptic techniques when appropriate.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication between front desk operations and clinical services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Experience in retail sales can be beneficial for enhancing customer service skills.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing outstanding service are required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
