Scheduling Coordinator
Job Summary
Amato Dentistry is seeking a Scheduling/Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The Scheduling/Treatment Coordinator will work closely with each patient to ensure they are scheduled for their appointments and have a great experience when at our practice. This person needs to have an outgoing personality , warm , welcoming and professional . This person will be expected to work independently, but also as a team member.
Primary Responsibilities:
·Communicate with patients and their family members regarding the progress of their care, scheduling, and any questions patients may have .
·Communicate with patients' co-workers regarding the patient's care, scheduling, billing needs.
·Communicate with patients' financial advisors regarding the patient's care, scheduling, billing needs.
·Communicate with patients' insurance companies regarding the patient's care, scheduling, billing needs.
·Communicate with patients' financial advisors regarding the patient's insurance status, scheduling, billing needs.
·Communicate with patients' financial advisors regarding the status of their account, scheduling, billing needs.
Answer phones and greet each patient as the enter the practice.
·Manage client accounts in a timely manner.
·Ensure all billing and customer service tasks are completed accurately and timely.
·Schedule new patient appointments and collect payments from existing patients as needed.
·Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or higher in business management preferred. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare management or related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
