Dr Jeffrey Workman/Eye Doctor - is seeking a people-person for our front office and patient care team. We are willing to train the specifics of the job if you have general office and customer service skills. We offer family-friendly hours, a fun team, compassionate doctors, and loyal patients.

Duties Include:

  • Greeting and directing patients
  • Registering patients, accepting payment
  • Data entry
  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Answering phones, making outbound calls to confirm appointments
  • Making referrals to other providers, faxing, emailing records
  • Answering questions regarding our products and services
  • Telephone triage for emergency appointments
  • Assisting doctor with testing and patient consultations

Qualifications

  • Medical or administrative support experience preferred
  • Proficient in receptionist duties
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations a plus
  • Excellent patient service and customer service skills

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
