What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Dr. Jeffrey Workman?
Dr. Jeffrey Workman with offices in Montpelier and Mineral Virginia is looking for friendly professionals who take pride in building lasting relationships with our patients by providing top-notch patient care. We have loyal patients, a strong work-family, and doctors that truly care about serving their patients. If you have administrative skills, we are happy to train Optometry-specific skills and provide you with the tools to learn, grow, and make a difference.
Duties Include:
- Greeting and directing patients
- Answering phones, scheduling
- Making referrals to other Specialists for continued care.
- Performing testing with specialized equipment
- Data entry utilizing Electronic Medical Records
- Phones, faxing, emailing, scanning, operating patient portals, and copying
- Handling prescription refills for drops and contact lenses.
- Assisting patients with contact lenses, showing how to insert, remove and care for them.
- Other duties as assigned
