What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant - Training Provided position at Dr John Labaza PC?
Our office is an established Optometry practice looking to train an Optometric Assistant to help our patients in all phases of eye care. This position is Monday through Friday. Non smoking office.
25 to 32 hours/week.
We are very particular about accuracy, and your ability to follow directions.
Individuals who possess good math skills will find the training we provide, easier. Training will also be more comfortable for you if you have had office/reception experience.
The individual we are looking for should have a friendly personality and be able to answer the phone with a smile.
Some of the duties for this position are: Pre-testing patients prior to them seeing the doctor, helping patients select their new eyewear, teaching new contact lens wearers how to insert and remove their lenses, electronic health records, computers and front desk duties, along with other tasks to help our patients.
