Perform day to day administrative functions and general office duties but not limited to word processing, collecting co pays, filing, faxing, answering phones, insurance billing, filing, and data entry.

Welcome and greet patients in a positive professional manner

Answer incoming calls and taking messages

Scheduling and rescheduling appointments

Data entry of patient information, insurance, and payments

Verifying patient's benefits.

Must have time management skills

Summary

As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential medical administrative support and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your core skills in patient service, medical office experience, and clerical duties will be vital in managing front desk operations and medical records efficiently. With premium skills in EMR systems and HIPAA compliance, you will uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and care. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and CPT coding
  • Excellent patient service and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical records management and clerical duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
