POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to support our dynamic DVCR Business Development Team. This role is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a scientific background, particularly those looking to transition from a routine clinical or lab environment to a more flexible, impactful position in a growing business development team. Your scientific expertise combined with strong analytical skills will be essential in supporting client engagement, prospecting, and strategy development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Business Development team and other staff to answer client questions, help create strategies for finding new clients, and support business development tasks.
- Plan and organize workload to meet outreach and client meeting targets
- Leverage your scientific expertise to assist with new business prospecting efforts, connecting with potential clients through engaging email campaigns, social media, and conferences.
- Apply analytical skills to track and report prospecting activity in Salesforce CRM, ensuring data is accurate and actionable
- Develop and maintain a list of target clients and key decision-makers within these clients
- Other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Scientific/Laboratory experience of 2 years
- A solid foundation in science, especially clinical pharmacology, with the ability to break down complex information and explain it in a clear, compelling way.
- Ability to understand and convey accurate company information to prospects in a clear, professional manner
- Strong work ethic, reliable and punctual for scheduled work
- Ability to be disciplined and work on multiple tasks at a time
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset, excited by the challenge of using data to inform business decisions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous sales support experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related industry preferred
- Experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience:

- Clinical Research/CRO: 2 years
