Drab to Fab is a modern, eco-friendly landscape design, build & maintenance contractor serving San Diego County. We have completed over 200 projects since our founding in July 2020. We are looking to continue our rapid growth with key hires that can grow alongside the company. The Landscape Enchancement & Maintenance Foreman will be an integral component of our growth plan for 2022.This position can be full-time with hourly pay ranging between $22-30 depending on experience. Successful candidate will be provided with company vehicle and must have a clean driving record without at fault accidents or multiples driving infractions REQUIRMENTS : Minimum 2 years' experience (full-time) or 4 years' experience (part time) in landscape maintenanceSocial security number Driver's license with clean DMV recordMust be able to communicate in English Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures, codes and standards of conduct, ethics, attendance, and professional appearanceEXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING A PLUS : Landscape Construction / InstallationGrading / Concrete Work / Pavers / Retaining WallsIrrigation - Sprinkler and / or Drip SystemsLow Voltage Outdoor LightingEnglish / Spanish bilingualESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Installation of smaller "enhancement" projects (i.e. small plantings, DG, rock, etc)Monthly maintenance of propertiesKnowledge of landscaping duties including weeding, hedge / shrub trimming, blowing, planting, mulching, fertilization, etc.Applicant must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditionsThis position requires substantial manual laborReliable and motivated with good work ethicStrong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to lift up to 50lbsThe above essential duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned as determined by the Company in its sole discretion.WORKING CONDITIONS : Work to be performed mostly outdoors on various sites throughout San Diego County. Environment can be hot. Applicants must be in good physical condition and able to perform physical operations requiring but not limited to sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and carrying of tools and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Workplace is non-smoking and drug-free.PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENINGAfter phone screening and in-person interview(s), successful candidates will be invited to participate in a mandatory, paid working interview.
