We are a fast-growing Drafting and Design company in Meridian, Idaho, specializing in high-quality residential drafting and design. As we expand, we are looking for a highly organized and creative individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant & Junior Draftsperson. This hybrid role will provide executive-level support while also being trained in drafting, blueprint reading, and creative home design.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn. You will provide administrative support to the executive team while also gaining hands-on experience in drafting and design. Over time, you will develop the skills necessary to contribute to drafting projects, read blueprints, and assist in creating innovative home designs.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Assistant Duties
- Manage schedules, appointments, and emails for executives.
- Handle client communications, follow-ups, and project coordination.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical files.
- Assist with invoicing, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as needed.
- Coordinate office operations and support general administrative tasks.
Drafting & Design Duties (Training Provided)
- Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Assist in preparing CAD drawings for residential and commercial projects.
- Support the design team with conceptual sketches and 3D modeling.
- Work on revisions and redlines under the guidance of senior drafters.
- Develop an understanding of local building codes and regulations.
- Contribute creative ideas to home designs and layouts.
