SLOT ATTENDANT
The Slot Attendant must be able to perform each essential function, as well as the other requirements of this job satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.)
- Ability to prioritize and perform overlapping job duties.
- Strong and accurate money-handling skills.
- 3 Strong communication and patron relations skills.
- Correct minor malfunctions of electronic gaming devices.
- Ensures all slot department documents are accurate and legible.
- Responsible for gaming operations in the assigned slot area.
- Comply with all rules, regulations, and policies about the slot department.
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED); or equivalent work experience. Some college-level classes are preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: In addition to the essential job functions, a Slot Attendant must be physically capable of performing the following essential physical functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable an employee with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Required to stand for moderate to long periods.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Reach with hands and arms.
- Speak and hear.
- Occasionally required to walk, climb, or balance.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Capable of negotiating stairs and ramps.
- Capable of bending, twisting, turning, lifting, and stretching as needed to perform job duties.
