COMMUNICATIONS / CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY INTERN
The DraftKings Corporate Communications team is looking for a smart and proactive intern to primarily support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives on behalf of the company. This individual will play a crucial role supporting team projects and initiatives and delivering on team objectives, while working closely with differing team members to learn more about the company.
The Communications / Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intern will function as a supporting member of DraftKings' Communications team.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in developing and drafting communications team materials including but not limited to press releases, prep documents, media pitches, social media copy, award submissions, communication plan and speaking engagement proposals.
- Assist in CSR program needs : charitable campaign-related tasks for customer-facing free-to-play pools, event planning for employee volunteer projects, research of potential charitable partners, assist with charity onboarding research, and intranet maintenance.
- Create compelling written, social and multi-media content that helps to engage customers, media, and other stakeholders to promote the company's community initiatives and public policy agenda.
- Conduct research and maintain ongoing tracking of industry data, media coverage, legislative developments, and internal company data.
- Support administrative efforts including research, media monitoring, agendas, meeting coordination, and notetaking.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is 16.00 USD - 20.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range and how that was determined during the hiring process.
