JOB TITLE: General Maintenance Tech - 2nd shift 4 PM - 12:30 AM - training would take place on 1st shift
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: The general maintenance tech is responsible for maintenance on all general production machines and upkeep.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend the daily stretch and bend meeting with the entire shift.
- Assure that all company Safety Program Policies are being followed at all times.
- Performs machine maintenance and upkeep on all production lines and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Assist other maintenance and production employees.
- Works with production personnel when machines are down to get them up and running as quickly and safely as possible.
- Performs regularly scheduled facility and preventive maintenance throughout the facility.
- Works with production personnel to assure that all production lines are running and at a high-quality output.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Strive to continually improve products and processes.
- Installation of capital equipment
- Troubleshoot machine problems and strive to get machinery back in safe working order as quickly as possible.
- Rebuild machines in the shop as assigned and fabricate items to assist in production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Self-motivated person that does not need a lot of supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1- 3 years in manufacturing
- 1-2 years of maintenance
- Welding and electrical experience
