Construction Foreman/Lead

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to take charge of our projects, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding results.

Your Role

As a Construction Foreman, you will be the go-to leader on-site, responsible for overseeing multiple projects, managing crews, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in construction, excellent organizational skills, and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple job sites.
• Oversee carpentry and labor teams, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
• Organize and schedule tasks, materials, and labor to maximize productivity.
• Troubleshoot issues, make decisions, and provide guidance to team members.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure expectations are met.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience in construction, with hands-on knowledge of framing, finishing, and other essential skills.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, such as a foreman, supervisor, or team lead.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle challenges on-site.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Communication: Clear and professional communicator with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Parkersburg, WV 26104: Relocate before starting work (Required)
