What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach position at Drake University?
Drake University Athletics seeks a candidate to assist the head coach of the men's basketball program. This includes assisting with recruitment, practice sessions, scheduling, and operations management. A key area of responsibility will be player development or principles and skills. The qualified candidate will be dedicated to the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes, have the ability to promote the attributes of Drake University and Bulldog Athletics, as well as adhere to NCAA & Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations. Prior college coaching experience required. All of the duties described above require an understanding of and compliance with the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, the Pioneer Football League, and/or the Summit League and Drake University.
