What are the responsibilities and job description for the HRIS Specialist position at DRB Group?
JOB PURPOSE :
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the HR Systems (Ceridian Dayforce), ensuring seamless integration with HR processes and other department tools. They are also responsible for ongoing and ad hoc reporting and analytics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for data entry, data verification, testing, and day to day management of the HRIS systems to ensure data integrity of employee / organizational data.
- Partner with internal customers to develop new processes within the HRIS systems to better manage the companies changing needs.
- Assist with implementations of new modules for the existing HRIS systems including testing and verifying data integrity.
- Create and run reports based on workforce analytics.
- Monitor HRIS for systems performance and identify processes that may need improvement.
- Ensure the HRIS systems reports are properly displaying report data.
- Assist employees with HRIS questions and seek resolutions quickly.
- Create or update appropriate user documentation and procedures as needed; assist with training users on updated system functionality.
- Maintain other HR related systems and their integration with HRIS.
- Perform regular trouble shooting and testing of applicable HR Systems and provide relevant and timely feedback.
- Develop Human Resources content for the online training system as needed.
- Backup to Payroll Assistant as needed.
- Create and run audit reports for system performance evaluations.
- Manage special projects as needed.
