Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Assistant/Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless operation of computer systems and hardware. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software, as well as excellent customer service skills to assist users effectively. The IT Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our technology resources and supporting our staff with their IT needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with managing and maintaining Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Assist in the management of computer assets, ensuring all devices are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service in addressing IT-related inquiries.
- Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Assist with setting up accounts and user profiles.
- Provide system administration and maintenance.
- Assist with responding to and diagnose technical hardware and software issues.
- Maintain documentation of technical processes.
- Follow up with users to ensure their technical issues have been resolved.
- Deliver and Remove computer equipment as needed
- Effectively collaborate with, communicate issues, and task execution with IT Support Consultants.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Server management and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including LAN configurations.
- Experience with computer management practices and desktop support for both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist users in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols to ensure effective network communication.
Education/Training/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of manufacturing processes and scheduling a plus. At least two years of office support and IT support experience required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
