Dream Center Evansville (DCE) Volunteer Information :

We provide each of our students with a nutritious dinner 4 days a week throughout the school year. In 2023, we served over 8,000 individual meals! We would love for you and your team to join us in this initiative. You and your team would be responsible for providing and serving food to our students.

There are two ways you can help provide a meal :

1. You / your team can source, cook, serve the food, meet students, & clean up - we have a full commercial kitchen for you to use!

2. You can cater in and serve the food, meet students, & clean up.

Meal Teams join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most of our meal teams serve monthly - every 1st Tuesday, 2nd Thursday, etc.; however, a monthly commitment is not required. Please feel free to apply, and DCE will reach out to discuss availability.

We typically have around 50 students, and meals need to be ready to serve at 5 : 20pm. In order for us to plan our other meals around it, we ask for you to provide us with your menu no later than the Wednesday of the week prior to the day you are planning to volunteer.

Requirements :

Criminal background check must show no conviction of a felony or misdemeanor crime including, but not limited to abuse, drugs or alcohol, neglect, theft or fraud
