Concrete Laborer/Finisher

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be proficient in various finishing techniques. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixers and other heavy equipment to prepare and pour concrete.
• Utilize hand tools to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete.
• Apply caulking and sealants as needed to ensure durability and weather resistance.
• Assist in metal stud framing and other installation tasks related to concrete structures.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the mixing, pouring, and finishing processes.
• Restore damaged concrete surfaces by repairing cracks and imperfections.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation related to concrete work.
• Proficient in using hand tools specific to concrete finishing tasks.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as part of daily duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.80 - $18.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
