What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Dream Finders Homes?
The primary role of the Warranty Service Representative is to be responsible for managing the completion of warranty claims and other request received by homeowners. This includes conducting in-home claim assessments, determining applicable warranty coverage, coordinating and supervising repair dates with trade partners and homeowners, and ensuring the satisfactory and timely completion of all repair work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Schedules and organizes subcontractors to complete work on a timely basis
Inspects the quality of the work performed by all subs and assuring completed to quality standards.
Field and respond to Homeowner requests for warranty claims.
If necessary, schedule with the homeowner and our subcontractors to remedy the issue.
Schedule 11-month warranty walks with the homeowners and schedule the appropriate subcontractors to remedy the issues.
Walk homes under construction from a Quality Control perspective and create lists for the Construction Team prior to completion of homes under construction
Be Versed and use the Warranty Manual used by Dream Finders Homes to resolve issues in the field
Perform pre-closing walks with new homeownersSpend time with the Construction Team to learn the aspects of the construction process
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Code Compliance Course and OSHA / Safety classes is a plus
Builder's License is a plusMinimum 2 years of customer service experience
Previous Residential construction or homebuilding industry experience is preferredExperience using a laptop or tablet

The work environment is representative of an office / field setting
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
