The Shipping & Suspense Coordinator position is for candidates with priorexperience and knowledge of loan delivery to investors and governmentagencies. As loans are committed, the Shipping Coordinator would prepare theloan data andor loan documents for delivery to the respective investor. Theindividual would work from a queue or pipeline, prioritizing and preparingloan files according to company and investor requirements.The candidate must have knowledge of mortgage loan documents and terminology,and the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Selling System. In this position, one willwork closely with several different investors, delivering all types of loanfiles and loan products. It will require timely, regular follow-up on eachindividual file to research and quickly rectify delivery issues and investorsuspended loans. In this position, the candidate will converse daily withinternal and external customers, requiring knowledge of the mortgageorigination process.The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities :
- Mortgage origination knowledge or background
- Knowledge of the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
- Knowledge of the Uniform Closing Dataset
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Computer and technology savvy (Knowledge of Microsoft Office products)
- Patient with repetitive tasks
- Experience with Encompass operation system, a plus
