Controller
The Controller plays a crucial role in the financial success of Dream Golf.
Role Description:
- Supports the Director of Finance in managing financial operations at the resort.
Key Tasks:
- Develop policies and procedures to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, cost control, payroll, taxes, and related financial activities and records.
- Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and analyses.
- Communicate regularly with and report to the Director of Finance.
Performance Metrics:
- Timely preparation and dissemination of financial statements and reports.
- Accurate maintenance of accounting records.
- Effective communication with management and staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with accounting and finance emphasis preferred.
- 5 years accounting and/or financial control experience and supervisory and/or management experience.
- Demonstrated capability with budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
