Golf Course Maintenance and Management Intern
About Dream Golf:
Dream Golf is a prestigious golf resort and community nestled in 12,000 acres of rugged sand dunes in central Wisconsin.
Internship Overview:
This internship provides hands-on experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance and management, offering a unique opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of fine fescue fairway management techniques.
- Aquatic maintenance and water quality control of lakes and ponds.
- Toro Lynx central control system training and operation.
- Application and calibration of fertilizers and pesticides, with accurate record keeping.
- Leadership of small crews for various projects and tasks.
- Management of turfgrass cultural practices, including mowing, verticutting, topdressing, aerifying, and rolling.
- Restoration and management of natural areas and sand barrens.
- Maintenance and upkeep of grass tennis courts.
