As a Kitchen and HVAC Technician, you’ll focus on maintaining and repairing the equipment that keeps our resort running smoothly. From kitchen appliances to HVAC systems, you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything works reliably.
\n- Work with Facility Maintenance Managers to handle repairs across the resort.
- Perform regular maintenance on kitchen equipment and HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Assess maintenance issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Complete work orders and maintain repair logs for equipment.
- Organize and keep up-to-date manuals, maintenance records, and system documentation.
- Identify repairs that need vendor support and coordinate as required.
- Maintain an inventory of essential parts to minimize downtime.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and training provided by the Facilities Department and the company.
- Experience with carpentry, mechanics, or electrical work.
- Attention to detail to spot and address maintenance issues.
- The ability to read blueprints and handle basic math.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to pass a background check, driver's license in good standing, and a drug screen.
- A high school diploma is required, with a college degree or technical certification preferred.
- Experience with HVAC systems, appliance diagnostics, and mechanical or electrical repairs is helpful.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and approachable attitude.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and parts.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
