What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician @ Bandon Dunes Golf Resort position at Dream Golf?
Do you enjoy solving problems and keeping things running smoothly? Bandon Dunes Golf Resort seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings and equipment. The shift will be from 1 pm to 9:30 pm Wednesday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6 am to 3 pm.
\n- Perform carpentry, electrical work, drywall repair, and furniture fixes.
- Work with department managers to address maintenance needs.
- Create and follow a preventive maintenance program.
- Keep detailed records of repairs and parts inventory.
- Assess maintenance issues and determine if outside help is needed.
- Maintain a company vehicle and ensure it meets safety and appearance standards.
- Experience with carpentry, mechanics, or electrical work.
- Attention to detail to spot and address maintenance issues.
- The ability to read blueprints and handle basic math.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to pass a background check, driver's license in good standing, and a drug screen.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, lift, and climb for up to 8 hours.
- Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various conditions.
