Dreamcatchers is a non-profit agency looking to hire a Full Time Supervising Program Coordinator to support program and business operations. Dreamcatchers provides assessments, job preparation, job placement and coaching to youth and adults with limitations and disabilities throughout California. We are a provider for the State of California as well as contract with several County Behavioral Health programs and other private agencies to provide employment assistance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in program management, relationship management, and a background in social work or behavioral health. This role requires a proactive individual who can supervise staff, track data for compliance, and develop community partnerships that enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications include:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with five (5) year’s work experiences and two (2) years supervising employees OR an associate’s degree with strong knowledge of case management/human services/educational system with ten (10) years of work and life experiences and four (4) years of supervising/training employees. Experience with supervising staff is required.
  • Proven experience in program management or development within the social services sector.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Experience working with community/employment services and with Probation, State, County and Federal regulatory agencies.
  • Experience with heavy data tracking and management.
  • Experience in providing Employment Services to others is highly preferred. Nonprofit experience is helpful.
  • Familiar with CARF regulations is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to engage clients, families, and community partners.
  • Background in social work or behavioral health is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly to various audiences.

Someone who can handle multiple projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines; and the ability to manage time and resources efficiently. This person must be flexible and reliable, accepts responsibility and is accountable for actions while demonstrating initiative with excellent judgment. We are looking for someone who is energetic and personable, displays excellent customer service and has the proven ability to work with others, at all levels within the organization, and collaborate effectively.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Supervises employees who are providing direct client services
  • Provides performance evaluations as well as coaching and mentoring to employees
  • Assists with the hiring and termination of employees as needed
  • Develops community employers and partnerships
  • Attends community partnership meetings
  • Ensures that staff billing is accurate and thorough
  • Collecting and tracking data from the team, including the entering of data into custom database
  • Provide direct client services as needed for back up
  • Foster relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families to promote program visibility and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support including documentation, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients' needs.
