Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor at DreamLife Treatment Center in Baltimore, MD. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for treatment planning, case management, chemical dependency assessment, relapse prevention strategies, and mental health counseling.
Qualifications
- Treatment Planning and Case Management skills
- Expertise in Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention
- Mental Health counseling experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for individuals struggling with substance abuse
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
