Job Summary: The Billing Clerk will gather data, calculate charges and fees, and create invoices
for billing purposes.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepares invoices for services provided to customers based on data and information provided by the sales team.
Verifies accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors.
Contacts customers to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to solve problems as they arise.
Experience in Sage Intacct preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree or vocational school training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
