Intermediate Interior Designer

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is a full-service design-remodeling company serving the Greater Reno/Sparks and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and highly motivated intermediate designer to join our team and provide our clients with a fabulous design and remodeling experience. Experience in cabinetry or remodeling industry is a plus, but not required.

· maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design

· will pass a background check

In this role, the successful candidate will perform the following in collaboration with the Sales and Design team:

· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.

· Survey existing spaces—measure on-site dimensions, document design characteristics, take photos for reference.

· Create and revise finish schedules, fixture schedules, paint schedules, and scopes of work.

· Create and revise plumbing, appliance, and lighting schedules.

· Create meeting agendas, take notes during meetings, and provide notes to the design team.

· Create presentations of selections for client review.

· Assist in administrative duties as necessary.

· Other duties may include contacting vendors and contractors; organizing materials in the Design Center; researching new products and vendors; and making selections for finishes, fixtures, etc.
