Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA Clinical Director to oversee and coordinate our programs focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and Autism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis, along with experience in medical documentation and patient assessment. This role is essential in ensuring the effective delivery of services, fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage programs tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Train staff, caregivers, and other professionals to implement ABA treatment plans.
- Design and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), other developmental delays, or behavioral concerns.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including RBT competency assessments and renewals.
- Conduct face-to-face supervision for clients in assigned region to maintain 10% supervision standard.
- Assist RBTs in monitoring supervision expectations per the BCBA regulations
- Conduct clients team meetings in order to update the clients treatment plans.
- Conduct research data collection and write initial assessments. Assess the clients treatment needs and write detailed goals and objectives so that progress may be tracked and measured.
- Evaluate medical records and documentation and check if in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to create individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and monitor progress.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards within documentation processes.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and work towards improving their quality of life.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, behavior science, social work, rehabilitation or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Active BCBA certification
- At least 2 years experience working as a behavior technician/RBT implementing ABA intervention with children with Autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with research data collection methods and analysis.
- Experience in applied behavior analysis and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Preferred 1 year experience working as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training caregivers and instructors on how to implement these interventions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
- Experience conducting a variety of Assessments with the ability to assess patient needs effectively, particularly for children.
- Preferred BCBA who is bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Compassionate BCBA who works well in a team environment.
