Job Description
Requirement: Applicant MUST possess a current license compliant with SB 946 (BCBA certification, Surgeon, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Speech and Language Pathologist, or an Audiologist). No applicants for this position will be considered without this requirement.
Summary: The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the therapeutic needs of the clients being served. This person is responsible for overseeing a caseload, therapist and consultant performance, monitoring program progress. This person will act as liaison between families and East Bay ABA for child programs. The Clinical Director also analyzes data collected by behavioral therapists and program supervisors to determine if the interventions they created are effective in creating the desired behavior change for the client. If they are not, the Clinical Director must implement new strategies utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to bring about the desired behavior.
The Clinical Director is a high level executive administrator reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations but must have strong clinical experience and perspective on Applied Behavior Analysis and how it relates to individuals with autism.
Job Description (job duties includes, but is not limited to):
Works 1-6 hours/week per client (approximately 75% direct/month - expect to be in home at least once weekly per client)
Utilizes the principles of ABA, including reinforcement, prompting and fading, shaping, chaining, maintenance and generalization, extinction and punishment (including DTT, NET, FBA, FAA, and other behavior analytical procedures as needed) to develops, updates, and analyzes goals and data in collaboration with program supervisor
Responsible for intervention planning and implementation of clinical cases and develops behavioral strategies that also assist the parent or guardian in implementing the behavior plan.
Conducts, writes and reports initial assessments and 6-month progress reports in a timely manner
Assembles the data binder or delegates the management of the electronic data binder to the program supervisor.
Tracks and ensures compliance regarding legal, ethical, and safety issues including working with families and vulnerable populations. Maintains respect and confidentiality for all clients and acts in compliance with the BACB.
Oversees clinical services being provided in-home and community settings; responsible for ensuring quality and integrity of services.
Conducts training of behavioral therapists as needed
Conducts a monthly internal team meeting as well as a team meeting with the caregiver present
Shares responsibility with program supervisor for maintaining the client's schedule of sessions and for tracking and coordinating all hours and make-up sessions.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies
May attend IEPs, conduct school observations and/or support parents in communication and collaboration with schools and other service providers
May also require interacting with funding agencies, managing referrals and other administrative duties

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Holds a masters degree and BCBA certification or related license from the Board of Behavioral Sciences, BBS
At least 3 years experience in the field.
Upon getting hired will complete background check, fingerprints, CPR/BLS, First Aid, immunizations (Tuberculosis, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella, Mumps, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B), and provide evidence of degree and transcripts
Additional Information
Compensation:
$56,000 - $63,000/year
Up to $12,000/year bonus possible
$1000 bonus up one year anniversary

Full-time position and part-time position available.
East Bay ABA provides in-home behavioral services to individuals with autism and the role of the Clinical Director is to supervise such services, which may occasionally occur on weekends or late evenings.
Ability to frequently work from home (each client must be seen directly at least once per week)
Skills:
Knowledge and experience with VB-MAPP, FAST, QABF, DP-3, Vineland, and other functional behavioral assessments
A creative, flexible self-motivated and energetic team player
Superior skills in time management, observation, analytics,
A knowledge of Discrete Trial Training, Verbal Behavior Training, Natural Environment Training, data collection procedures, graphing, and computer skills is required.
