Position Summary
The Mobile Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in expanding Dress for Success NWA’s impact by connecting high-need communities to our services. This position involves planning and executing mobile outreach events, fostering relationships with community partners, and ensuring follow-up with clients to help them access ongoing resources. Additional responsibilities include managing our online boutique presence, supervising interns, and assisting with donation and fundraising events.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach Coordination (Primary Role)
- Plan and execute 2–4 mobile outreach events monthly, offering clothing, hygiene items, workshops, and career services.
- Host 2–3 rural outreach events annually to increase access to our services in underserved areas.
- Enter client information post-outreach events into our system and provide follow-up communication to connect them with ongoing resources at our Rogers site.
- Represent Dress for Success NWA at community events to promote our mission and services.
Community Partnerships
- Build and foster relationships with community partners to expand access to Dress for Success NWA’s programs and services.
- Collaborate with partners to identify areas of need and develop targeted outreach initiatives.
Online Boutique Management
- Manage Depop and Poshmark online boutiques, including:
- Taking photos and creating product listings.
- Packaging and shipping sold items.
- Create engaging social media content to promote Depop/Poshmark drops and outreach events.
Intern Supervision
- Oversee and mentor 1–3 outreach interns, providing clear guidance and support for their tasks.
Inventory Sales and Donations
- Coordinate and oversee three annual inventory sales, including planning, setup, and execution.
- Assist with donation drop-off days, ensuring donations are efficiently processed and organized.
Fundraising and Events
- Support Dress for Success NWA fundraising events by assisting with planning, setup, and execution.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and online retail tools like Depop and Poshmark.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Experience in outreach, nonprofit work, or related fields preferred.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate outreach events, donation drop-off days, and inventory sales.
- May involve light lifting and setup for events.
