RESPONSIBILITIES
o Welcoming participants or potential participants who come into the office
o Ensuring that those who come in for suiting are aware of other offerings
o Answering phones and returning messages in a timely manner
o Monitoring PO Box/Mail
o Data entry and gift processing
o Oversight of office space
- Opening and closing for office hours
- Engaging drop-in visitors
- Monitoring and ordering supplies
- Maintaining organizational and boutique calendars
- Ensuring that program areas are set up and functional as needed
o Coordinating volunteers
- Keeping an up-to-date database
- Processing volunteer applications and sharing them with appropriate staff
- Managing volunteer outreach
o Consistently improving processes and procedures
o Coordinating in-house events that are not directly related to programming
o Ensuring that the office space is progressively welcoming, engaging and reflective of our mission, population and organizational culture
o Assisting the Executive Director as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
(Required)
o A minimum of three years’ experience in administrative or office work
o A high level of organization and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
o Strong critical thinking skills
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
o The ability to work independently and with a team
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
o Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
(Preferred)
o An Associate’s degree
o Experience in working with underserved populations
o Event planning experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
