The mission of Dress for Success is to support women on their path to achieving economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to bring an action-oriented approach to coordinating and executing logistics, planning, and events for the organization’s client programs. They will work with the Program Team to design and implement client programs and services focused on supporting women to achieve economic independence through financial education, digital literacy, and overall career support.
This role reports to the Program Manager and is a Hybrid role with M/F remote workdays and T/W/Th in-office workdays. Remote workdays may be adjusted as required/needed by work requirements.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Planning and executing client program events and services for Dress for Success Seattle.
- Coordinate and oversee the logistical aspects of programs, events, and initiatives.
- Support client intake, recruiting, and engagement via phone, online, and in-person.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
o Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, community organizations, vendors, and sponsors.
o Coordinating with vendors, managing event logistics, and ensuring that events run smoothly.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that events and activities are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
o Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote events and programs.
o Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to manage volunteers for events and other activities. This includes program needs for recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers.
- Maintain records of events, activities, and volunteers. This includes tracking attendance, volunteer hours, and other relevant data.
- Generate reports on program outcomes, participant feedback, and budgetary information.
- Responsible for managing budgets for events and other activities. This includes creating budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that events stay within budget. Responsibilities around team leadership include but not limited to:
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes creativity and effective problem-solving.
- Overseeing training and management of volunteers as needed for program support.
- Collaborating and demonstrating role flexibility in service to what organization needs emerge.
- Support staff and board members with various projects and tasks as needed.
- Delivering on other duties as assigned or required to operate DFS Seattle successfully.
Requested skills, capabilities, and experience:
- A “doer” – someone who is driven to implement and take action in service of our clients
- Strong coordination experience, ideally with programs and events – Preferred 2 years’ experience coordinating events and/or programs
- Background in logistics, event planning, education, people coordination, or other relevant experience.
- Able and willing to work with staff, volunteers, clients, and corporate sponsors from a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, beliefs, gender identities, body shapes, education, economic disparities, and life challenges.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs, and data management.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
