We're looking for a highly organized and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our growing team and help us deliver high-quality repairs and renovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of restoration and construction projects, including emergency response, repairs, and remodels.
- Collaborate with technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all work meets budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, providing updates and exceptional customer service throughout the project.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and local building codes.
- Prepare and manage schedules, budgets, and work orders.
- Use project management software to track progress and maintain organized project documentation.
- Ensure team members follow safety protocols, acting as a safety champion on all job sites.
Hands-On Involvement
- This role may require hands-on work on-site when necessary to assist with repairs, troubleshoot issues, or manage critical tasks.
- Work closely with the construction crew to ensure smooth execution during peak project phases or when subcontractors are unavailable.
Subcontractor Management
- Assist in identifying and establishing relationships with reliable subcontractors in the area.
- Manage subcontractor contracts and performance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate timelines and scope of work with subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in construction project management, ideally within restoration services (water, mold, or fire).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and restoration processes.
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software preferred.
- Proficiency with other project management tools and software (e.g., Buildertrend).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in water damage or microbial remediation.
- IICRC certifications (e.g., Water Damage Restoration Technician) are a plus.
