Nurse Supervisor Job Description
The Nurse Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting a clinical environment where nursing staff deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with off-shift and other administrative personnel to ensure consistency of practice across all three shifts on a continual basis.
- Design and provide employee training using competencies established by the DON for evaluation of all nursing staff, including use of EMR.
- Assist the physician and staff with daily coordination of patient care and physician access.
- Function as a liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
- Maintain efficient patient flow.
- Demonstrate telephone triage protocols appropriately.
- Adhere to universal safety precautions.
- Check and maintain logs for emergency equipment according to policy.

Requirements:
- Proof of valid RN license in good standing from the State of New Jersey.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of nurse management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
- eCW experience preferred, but willing to train.
