Job Duties :
The Nurse Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting a clinical environment where nursing staff deliver exceptional patient care.
This position involves assigning duties to nursing staff and providing appropriate feedback and assessment of care delivered ensuring adherence to safety and care standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborating with off shift and other administrative personnel to assure consistency of practice across all three shifts on a continual basis
Designing and providing employee training using competencies established by the DON for evaluation of all nursing staff, including use of EMR
Assisting the physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and physician access
Functioning as the liaison between patients, staff, and physicians
Maintaining efficient patient flow
Appropriately demonstrates telephone triage protocols
Appropriately adheres to universal safety precautions
Checks and maintains logs for emergency equipment according to policy

Requirements :
Proof of valid RN license in good standing from the State Of New Jersey
BSN preferred
BLS certification
2 years of nurse management experience
Excellent interpersonal and computer skills
eCW experience preferred, but willing to train
