Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, highlighting any available promotions.
- Manage the dining area setup and maintenance, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Accurately record and communicate order details to guests and the kitchen staff.
- Efficiently operate POS systems to inform the kitchen of order particulars.
- Deliver orders to guests with condiments as needed, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
- Adhere to all relevant liquor regulations regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
- Replenish beverages and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Market and serve dessert items or specialty coffees upon request.
- Collaborate with bus help to clear and reset tables.
- Perform side work tasks, including replenishing condiments and restocking, to maintain efficient service.
- Conduct general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products, adhering to health standards.
- Present checks to guests promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow safety and security protocols and rules.
- Know departmental fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Utilize protective equipment as required.
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisors/manager.
- Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage, or loss to supervisors/manager.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
- Ensure a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to specific standards outlined in the employee handbook.
- Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors/manager.
- Assist other restaurant personnel when needed.
