Summary/Objective
The Recreation Activities Coordinator will participate in the setup, facilitation, and clean-up of recreational activities at Tributary. This could include participating in kids' day camps for ages 4-10, organizing and facilitating various social and recreational events such as pickleball, tennis, or archery, or ensuring the safe use of rental gear such as bikes or paddleboards. This position includes the use of Club software, email, and cell phones to coordinate with members, staff, and other departments at Tributary. This interactive position involves engaging with the Club’s members, providing educational and recreational experiences, and helping to foster a fun and safe environment.

Essential Functions
1. Set up, stage, and check-out recreational equipment including but not limited to bikes, fly-rods stand-up paddle boards, and inflatable kayaks.
2. Coordinate with Member Services, Outfitting, and other departments to ensure smooth operations for event and activity sign-ups.
3. Set up and facilitate lawn games, archery, tomahawks, tennis, disc golf, etc.
4. Maintain assorted rental gear and equipment in safe and working conditions.
5. Share information about Teton Valley, its adventures, and outdoor activities.
6. Incorporate club and regional knowledge and experience into programming.
7. Teach and instruct members and their guests on assorted recreational activities and gear usage.
8. Fill up ice bags and resupply water, snacks, and beverages.
9. Maintain cleanliness of fleet vehicles, trailers, boats, and bikes, and other gear..
10. Ensure storage areas for recreational equipment are clean, tidy and well-maintained.
11. Drive river and bike shuttles.
12. Adhere to all federal, regional, and local laws and guidelines.

1. Assist various departments as needed in support of events or programs – set up, execution and break down.
2. Maintain a clean and organized Club environment.
3. Promote recreational experiences both on and off the property

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The position operates mostly outdoors around the club through all weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, and other injury-related hazards.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time Seasonal, Non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours of work are based on availability and need and are typically 30-40 hours per week. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and days and nights, with flexible hours. The schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments. Reasonable overtime may be asked during certain times of the year or for certain events and activities.
Travel
There may be minimal travel within the valley and over to Jackson Hole.
Required Education and Experience
1. Prior experience in a customer-centric, customer-facing position.
2. Prior experience in or knowledge of the local area and its activities or an enthusiasm for learning
3. Successful applicants must pass a criminal history background check and driving record review prior to the start date
4. Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
1. Must be able to speak fluent English.
2. Must be able to represent themselves in a positive and professional manner that will promote the club features and activities.
Work Authorization
Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
