Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator who will also oversee key front desk responsibilities. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our patient experience—guiding patients from initial consultation to post-treatment care, managing the flow of the reception area, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and the clinical team. Key Responsibilities
Treatment Coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and scheduling
- Clearly communicate treatment options, costs, and insurance information
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure seamless scheduling and efficient patient flow
- Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and assist with any inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with practice standards
Front Desk Operations
- Greet patients upon arrival and ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere
- Answer and direct incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries or routing calls to the appropriate team members
- Verify patient information, collect co-pays, and manage patient billing processes
- Maintain an organized reception area, including handling mail, deliveries, and general administrative tasks
- Collaborate with clinical staff to effectively manage appointment schedules, reduce wait times, and optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental office environment is required
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, insurance processes, and financial arrangements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (Open dental knowledge preferred)
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused service
