Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review physician orders for IV therapy services.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders before processing.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any uncertainties or discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of order and billing records to maintain compliance.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits as needed.
- Generate accurate and timely invoices for IV therapy services.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the medical team to update patient records with relevant information.
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information for order processing.
- Provide updates on order status and address client inquiries or concerns.
- Work with the client relations team to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, order management, or medical data entry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of healthcare compliance (HIPAA).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare or wellness industry is advantageous.
Salary : $22 - $24
