Hem/Onc RN (Monday – Friday, 8 am - 5 pm) PRN
General Purpose: The staff nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to assigned patients. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN plans and delivers patient care aligned with Driscoll Children's Hospital’s vision of excellence and integrated care. The RN adheres to established standards and clinical guidelines, contributing to a patient-focused, family-centered care environment that promotes patient self-care.

Essential Functions and Expectations:
- Perform essential duties satisfactorily, as listed below.

- Job description is not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Texas RN license.
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
- Oncology or critical care experience preferred but not required.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- Current Texas RN license.
- PALS certification within one year of hire.
- BLS AHA required
- Advanced practice national certification encouraged.
- Chemotherapy certification within one year of hire.
