Driscoll TopHay LLC (DTH) is a well-established hay crops sourcing and compression company located at Pocatello regional airport business park. We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our growing business. As a Plant Manager, you are responsible for staff scheduling, daily operation management, inventory management, compression equipment maintenance review, outsourcing management, and working with all other non-plant departments like Logistics, Sales, and Operations to make production plans. Our ideal candidate is bilingual, self-motivated with a result-oriented solid attitude, and has at least a bachelor's degree in business management or experience related to logistics or a field directly relevant to our industrial concerns. Job responsibilities:
1. Effectively manage daily plant operation, staff scheduling, monitor and review the workflow
2. Work closely with the logistics department and another team on the production plan, work schedules, etc.
3. Maintain effective scheduled production as per the plant production master plan
4. Perform facility maintenance of the main building and machinery equipment
5. Perform souring management, cooperate with suppliers on price negotiation, quality control, procurement process improvement
6. Perform top-level inventory management, oversee the inventory on traceability, safety, and quality
7. Oversea inbound and outbound inventory and all other relevant transportation duties
8. Implement SOPs and KPIs; plan and monitor the budget, and effectively manage the whole plant staff
9. Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures
10. All other duties assigned by Director
Requirement:
1. 3-5 years of progressive experience in a leadership role managing a production team or industrial processing plant employees
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; previous experience using ERP systems is beneficial.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
4. Superior organizational and communication skills
