We are looking for a Director of Business Development for our St. Louis office. As we continue to grow, the Director of Business Development will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our St. Louis office. This role involves leading, developing, and scaling a high-performing team of Business Developers, helping them close deals, and generating significant revenue. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and a passion for coaching and development.
Responsibilities...
- Negotiate and conduct closing meetings face to face and virtually with small / medium sized business owners
- Build, lead, and mentor 3-5 business developers to meet and exceed sales targets
- Foster a high-performance culture and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team against established metrics and KPIs
- Review and analyze sales reps' pipelines and leads in Salesforce, providing feedback and guidance on opportunities and challenges
- Organize and run regular sales meetings to review progress, share best practices, and address challenges
- Prepare and present reports on sales forecasts, sales performance metrics and market trends to senior management
- Develop and execute the business development strategy to drive growth and achieve company objectives
