Job Summary:
The Server will be responsible for delivering top-tier service to guests, providing menu recommendations, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a flawless dining experience. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of high-end cuisine, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for providing personalized service in a fine dining environment. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure every guest is treated with the utmost care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, providing a memorable first impression of the restaurant.
• Present and explain the menu offerings, including daily specials, wine list, and dessert options, with a thorough knowledge of all dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests, ensuring that the presentation, quality, and timing of each dish meet the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensure guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience by maintaining attentiveness, offering refills, and checking in regularly.
• Provide wine and cocktail pairing recommendations based on guest preferences and menu selections.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
• Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and checks, and provide accurate change or receipts.
• Collaborate with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, service standards, and safety procedures.
• Keep workstations and dining areas organized, clean, and free of clutter.
• Assist with setting and clearing tables, folding napkins, and resetting for new guests.
• Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and excellence in every interaction with guests.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Server in a high-end restaurant, preferably with steak and seafood experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining service etiquette, including proper table settings, wine and cocktail pairings, and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to memorize menus and food preparation details, including special dietary requests and allergens.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also maintaining a high level of independence.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to maintain a polished and professional appearance, adhering to the restaurant's grooming standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to navigate through the dining room and around guests while carrying food and drinks.
