Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding serving alcohol.
- Assist with banquet services or special events as required, ensuring that beverage needs are met promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food industry, and fine dining standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the hospitality or food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to help guests feel welcome.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for managing tabs and processing payments accurately.
- Basic math skills are essential for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided as necessary.
- Knowledge of banquet service is beneficial for assisting during events.
